PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
From 1977-1997 I was in private practice in Dallas, Texas. In recent years, I have had a private practice and a teaching position as Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and at the New Orleans-Birmingham Psychoanalytic Center as a Training Psychoanalyst.
I returned to practice in Dallas, Texas in 2010. Currently I am Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical School and Training and Supervising Analyst at the Dallas Psychoanalytic Center.
